Scripture of the Day: D&C 133:52
Last night for family night, we wrote letters to our grandma. She is moving away. We wanted to give her a little reminder of why we love her. Then we delivered them to her. We wanted to take her a goodie, but she does not eat them anymore for health reasons. It was fun to see the children gather round her to read her letters. Very fitting for the month of Love!

For Christmas we made cookies and used my 2 yr old son's Little People manger scene to teach him the Christmas story. It was so fun!

Our favorite FHE is when we carve pumpkins the Monday before Halloween. We also like to make gingerbread houses just before Christmas. I guess the most effective is when everyone has a project to do and then they don't fight (as much). I follow on GFC

We just did one that I thought was fun. We made our own caramel apples with several candies and then sat around the table and asked each other questions out of a question bag. Surprisingly, the little kids LOVED it! My parents liked our bonding as well. :)

Hello, I am following you as Glenda Cates and anytime I can cuddle up on the couch with my son is a fun eve. for me as I lost my daughter when she was 16 so it gives me a chance to share some of her favorite things and it fills like she is with us as well.
