Check out these cute cakes I saw in this month's Family Fun magazine:



Kitty says she wants the iCake for her birthday next month, and since it does not look too difficult I will attempt it. Making cakes is not my strong suit--once I made one of those Barbie cakes where the cake is the skirt. The skirt part came out too short--it hit the Barbie at about crotch height. I had to use frosting to fill in the rest at the top! As a result the Barbie leaned to one side. Ultimately it looked okay, but since then I have generally preferred to buy a store-made cake to eliminate the stress of cake-making!
